JATIMTIMES - Kebakaran melanda rumah Abbas Ardhani Rahmad di Dusun Miagan, Desa Miagan, Kecamatan Mojoagung, Jombang. Akibat peristiwa ini, 1 unit sepeda motor di gudang belakang ikut ludes terbakar.
Kapolsek Mojoagung Kompol Yogas mengatakan, kebakaran pertama kalai diketahui istri Abbas yang sedang memasak di dapur pagi tadi pukul 07.00 WIB, Jumat 15 Mei 2026. Saat itu, ia melihat ada kepulan asap di dalam gudang belakang rumahnya.

Saat dicek ke dalam, rupanya kobaran api sudah membakar seisi ruangan. Lantas, ia meminta bantuan tetangga untuk memadamkan api dengan alat seadanya. Tidak berselang lama, petugas kepolisian datang bersama tim pemadam kebakaran dari Pos PMK Mojoagung.
"Begitu sampai di lokasi, anggota langsung membantu pemadaman dan evakuasi barang milik korban yang masih bisa diselamatkan," ujarnya kepada wartawan, Jumat (15/05/2026).
Proses pemadaman api yang membakar bangunan rumah seluas 6 x 12 meter ini melibatkan personel gabungan dari PMK, polisi dan para relawan. Dua unit mobil pemadam dikerahkan untuk pemadaman api rumah Abbas.
Api benar-benar bisa dipadamkan petugas sekitar pukul 09.10 WIB. Meski tidak ada korban jiwa, kebakaran ini menghanguskan seluruh isi bangunan gudang dan 1 unit motor Honda Vario yang berada di dalam bangunan.
