JATIMTIMES - Sebanyak 84 personel Satuan Lalu Lintas Polresta Malang Kota diterjunkan untuk mengantisipasi kepadatan arus kendaraan selama libur panjang akhir pekan di wilayah Kota Malang pada 14-17 Mei 2026 mendatang. Penempatan personel difokuskan pada sejumlah titik yang diprediksi mengalami lonjakan volume kendaraan, terutama jalur masuk dan keluar kota.

Kasat Lantas Polresta Malang Kota, Rio Angga Prasetyo, mengatakan personel disiagakan untuk memastikan arus lalu lintas tetap lancar di tengah meningkatnya mobilitas masyarakat saat momen libur panjang. Melihat Kota Malang juga merupakan salah satu destinasi wisatawan maupun jalur yang digunakan menuju Kota Batu.

“Untuk pengamanan dan kelancaran lalu lintas selama long weekend ini, kami menurunkan sekitar 84 personel Satlantas. Mereka disebar di sejumlah titik strategis untuk melakukan pengaturan, pemantauan, serta antisipasi kepadatan kendaraan,” kata Rio, Rabu (13/5/2026).

Ada beberapa ruas jalan yang menjadi perhatian khusus karena kerap mengalami peningkatan arus kendaraan saat akhir pekan panjang. Salah satunya jalur keluar dari akses Exit Tol Singosari menuju arah Kota Malang, termasuk jalur arus balik menuju tol.

Selain itu, jalur menuju Kota Batu juga diprediksi padat, terutama saat wisatawan bergerak dari Kota Malang ke kawasan wisata di Batu maupun sebaliknya ketika arus balik.

“Sejumlah titik yang kami waspadai antara lain seputaran keluar dari Exit Tol Singosari menuju Kota Malang, termasuk jalur arus baliknya. Kemudian arah ke Kota Batu dan arus balik di kawasan Jembatan Tunggul Emas atau Tunggul Wulung yang turun dari arah Batu,” jelas Rio.

Tak hanya jalur perbatasan kota, kepadatan juga diperkirakan terjadi di kawasan pusat kota. Beberapa simpang utama yang menjadi fokus pengamanan yakni sekitar Simpang Rajabali dan kawasan Kayutangan Heritage, yang biasanya ramai oleh aktivitas masyarakat maupun wisatawan.

Rio menambahkan, petugas tidak hanya melakukan pengaturan lalu lintas, tetapi juga patroli mobile untuk mengurai potensi kemacetan yang muncul secara situasional.

“Di area tengah kota, terutama Simpang Rajabali dan kawasan Heritage, personel juga kami siagakan karena volume kendaraan biasanya meningkat saat long weekend,” tambah Rio.

Rio juga mengimbau masyarakat agar merencanakan perjalanan dengan baik, mematuhi rambu lalu lintas, serta menghindari parkir sembarangan di titik-titik wisata yang berpotensi memicu perlambatan arus kendaraan.

Dengan penempatan puluhan personel di sejumlah titik rawan kepadatan, Rio berharap mobilitas masyarakat selama libur panjang berjalan aman, tertib, dan lancar.
