Anggota Polsek Menganti saat mendatangi lokasi wisata Jati Sewu di Dusun Bongso, Kecamatan Menganti, Gresik, untuk menyelidiki kasus bocah tewas tenggelam di kolam renang.
JATIMTIMES – Bocah berusia 6 tahun diduga tewas tenggelam di kolam renang Wisata Jati Sewu, Dusun Bongso, Desa Pengalangan, Kecamatan Menganti, Kabupaten Gresik.
Informasi yang dihimpun, peristiwa nahas itu terjadi pada Minggu (17/5) sekitar pukul 11.00 WIB. Pihak kepolisian baru mendapat laporan pada siang hari. Saat anggota polisi terjun ke lokasi kejadian, korban sudah dievakuasi ke Rumah Sakit BDH Surabaya.

Kapolsek Menganti AKP Arief Rahman menyampaikan, dari hasil penelusuran awal dan keterangan pengelola wisata, korban diduga tenggelam di kolam renang yang berada di area wisata tersebut.
Kolam renang itu diketahui memiliki ukuran sekitar 8 x 20 meter dengan kedalaman kurang lebih 150 sentimeter. Polisi juga mendalami informasi di rumah sakit tersebut serta mendatangi rumah duka.
"Penyebab tenggelamnya masih dalam proses penyelidikan," ujar Arief Rahman.
Terpisah, Kapolres Gresik AKBP Ramadhan Nasution menyebutkan bahwa kematian bocah tersebut masih terus diselidiki. Mulai dari pemeriksaan saksi hingga mengecek rekaman CCTV di sekitar lokasi kejadian.
