JATIMTIMES - Perayaan digitalisasi pembayaran di Kota Malang resmi dimulai. QRISMA FEST 2026 Vol. 1 dibuka lewat gelaran bertajuk “Gema Kadjoe Tangan” yang menghidupkan kawasan Kayutangan Heritage, Senin (4/5/2026).

Kegiatan yang diinisiasi Bank Indonesia Malang ini menggandeng Pemerintah Kota Malang, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan, industri perbankan, pelaku UMKM, hingga komunitas wisata.

Mengusung tema “Dari Tradisi ke Transaksi”, festival ini sekaligus menjadi bagian dari rangkaian peringatan HUT ke-112 Kota Malang. Pembukaan acara dihadiri langsung Wali Kota Malang Wahyu Hidayat, Kepala Perwakilan BI Malang Indra Kuspriyadi, Kepala OJK Malang Farid Faletehan, serta sejumlah pimpinan perbankan dan komunitas.

Dalam sambutannya, Indra Kuspriyadi menjelaskan bahwa pertumbuhan transaksi QRIS di Kota Malang menunjukkan tren yang kuat dan menjanjikan.

Menurutnya, jumlah merchant QRIS di Malang mencapai 68 persen dari total merchant di tujuh kabupaten/kota wilayah kerja BI Malang. Dari sisi volume transaksi, kontribusinya bahkan menyentuh angka 73 persen.

Capaian ini membuat Malang dinilai sebagai kota paling akseleratif dalam mendorong digitalisasi sistem pembayaran.

Ia menyebut, QRISMA FEST adalah kolaborasi lintas sektor untuk mempercepat sistem pembayaran yang inklusif, aman, dan berkelanjutan. Tak hanya itu, festival ini juga ingin menunjukkan bahwa modernisasi tidak harus menghapus identitas budaya.

“Melalui QRISMA FEST, Kota Malang mampu menjaga nilai tradisi dan identitas heritage seraya tetap adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi digital, sehingga transaksi digital dapat tumbuh berdampingan dengan budaya lokal.” jelasnya.

Semangat tersebut, lanjut Indra, diharapkan mampu mendorong masyarakat beralih dari transaksi tunai ke digital. Lewat QRISMA FEST 2026, BI Malang juga  berkomitmen untuk memperkuat ekosistem pembayaran digital yang andal. 

QRIS diperkenalkan sebagai metode pembayaran yang Cepat, Mudah, Murah, Aman, dan Handal (CEMUMUAH). Festival ini tidak hanya menjadi ajang hiburan, tetapi juga sarana edukasi agar masyarakat lebih bijak dalam bertransaksi digital.

Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga membuka peluang bagi pelaku UMKM untuk memperluas pasar melalui sistem pembayaran non-tunai.

Wali Kota Malang, Wahyu Hidayat, mengungkapkan bahwa transformasi digital di kotanya tetap berjalan berdampingan dengan pelestarian budaya.

Menurutnya, kawasan Kayutangan yang sarat nilai sejarah tetap menjadi identitas kota, sekaligus kini bertransformasi sebagai ruang ekonomi digital.

“Penggunaan QRIS juga tidak hanya dirasakan oleh UMKM dan Merchant, namun dirasakan oleh pengunjung maupun wisatawan yang datang ke Kota Malang khususnya kawasan wisata Kayutangan untuk memudahkan transaksi pembayaran.” ungkapnya. 

QRISMA FEST 2026 digelar selama 2–8 Mei 2026 dengan berbagai agenda menarik yang menggabungkan promosi wisata dan digitalisasi ekonomi.

Sejumlah kegiatan yang digelar antara lain:
• Malang Merchant QRIS Race yang melibatkan 1.120 merchant
• Kadjoe Tangan QRIS Race di kawasan Kayutangan dengan dukungan perbankan nasional
• Workshop digitalisasi pembayaran dan business matching pembiayaan
• Kompetisi kebersihan lingkungan kawasan wisata
• Amazing Race dan Content Competition untuk promosi heritage

Melalui kolaborasi pentahelix, BI berharap penggunaan QRIS di Malang semakin meluas.

"Sinergi ini diharapkan mampu menggerakkan perdagangan, meningkatkan daya saing UMKM, serta mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah yang inklusif," tutup Indra.
