JATIMTIMES - Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) di Kota Malang ternyata belum sepenuhnya mampu menyerap hasil pertanian dan peternakan lokal. Pemerintah Kota Malang mengakui kontribusi produk pangan dari kelompok tani hingga urban farming untuk kebutuhan dapur MBG masih tergolong kecil.

Kepala Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Pertanian (Dispangtan) Kota Malang, Slamet Husnan, mengatakan hingga saat ini belum ada data pasti terkait persentase penyerapan produk lokal oleh dapur Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG). Namun ia memastikan jumlahnya masih jauh dari target ideal. “Kalau ditanya apakah sudah mencapai sekitar 50 persen, saya rasa masih belum,” ujar Slamet, Senin (11/5/2026).

Padahal, program MBG sebelumnya digadang-gadang mampu menjadi penggerak ekonomi masyarakat. Berdasarkan penjelasan Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN), setiap dapur SPPG mengelola anggaran hingga Rp1 miliar setiap bulan. Sebagian besar dana tersebut digunakan untuk pembelian bahan pangan.

Kepala BGN Dadan Hindayana pernah menyampaikan sekitar 70 persen anggaran SPPG dipakai membeli bahan baku makanan. Dari jumlah itu, mayoritas berasal dari sektor pertanian, peternakan, dan perikanan.

Meski peluang pasarnya cukup besar, Slamet menyebut pelaku pangan lokal di Kota Malang masih menghadapi sejumlah kendala untuk masuk dalam rantai pasok MBG. Salah satu tantangan utama ialah standar kebutuhan yang diterapkan masing-masing dapur SPPG.

Menurutnya, setiap pengelola dapur memiliki ketentuan berbeda terkait kualitas barang, kapasitas pasokan, hingga keberlanjutan distribusi. Hal tersebut membuat tidak semua hasil produksi masyarakat bisa langsung diterima.

Meski begitu, Dispangtan Kota Malang mengaku terus berupaya mempertemukan kelompok produsen pangan dengan pengelola dapur MBG. Sosialisasi dan pendampingan telah dilakukan kepada kelompok tani, peternak, pembudidaya ikan, hingga komunitas urban farming.

“Kami tetap mengenalkan kelompok-kelompok tersebut kepada pengelola SPPG agar hasil produksinya bisa ikut terserap,” kata Slamet.

Ia menambahkan, sebagian besar urban farming di Kota Malang menghasilkan komoditas sayuran. Bahkan beberapa kelompok telah mengembangkan budidaya terpadu, seperti budidaya ikan dalam ember atau budikdamber.

Namun di lapangan, banyak dapur SPPG sudah memiliki pemasok tetap. Kondisi ini membuat produk pangan lokal harus bersaing lebih ketat untuk mendapatkan akses pasar program MBG.

Saat ini tercatat ada sekitar 115 kelompok urban farming di Kota Malang. Ke depan, Dispangtan berencana membentuk sistem koordinasi terpadu agar hasil produksi dari berbagai kelompok bisa dihimpun dalam satu jalur distribusi.

Langkah tersebut diharapkan dapat memperkuat kapasitas pasokan sekaligus meningkatkan peluang produk pangan lokal masuk ke dapur MBG.
