Gertek 2026, Mas Dhito Hadirkan Teknologi Pertanian Terbaru untuk Petani

JATIMTIMES - Bupati Kediri Hanindhito Himawan Pramana menunjukkan komitmennya untuk memajukan petani supaya lebih berdaya saing melalui Gelar Inovasi dan Teknologi Pertanian (Gertek) 2026.

Kegiatan yang diadakan di Desa Bulusari, Kecamatan Tarokan, itu menghadirkan lebih dari 77 perusahaan. Perusahaan ini bergerak di bidang benih unggul, pupuk, pestisida, alat dan mesin pertanian hingga sektor perbankan.

Dengan hadirnya perusahaan-perusahaan ini, petani juga ditunjukkan berbagai inovasi pertanian baik itu melalui demplot, pameran dan demo alat mesin pertanian modern. Selain itu, petani mendapatkan informasi mengenai akses permodalan. 

"Hadirnya perusahaan-perusahaan yang berpartisipasi dalam Gertek ini, petani juga semakin dimudahkan untuk memilih, semisal benih unggul yang sesuai," kata Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Kediri Mohamad Solikin.

Mengusung tema "Pertanian Modern untuk Swasembada Pangan Berkelanjutan" fokus Gertek 2026 ini mendorong transformasi sektor pertanian agar lebih maju, efisien, dan berdaya saing.

Berbeda dengan tahun sebelumnya, Gertek 2026 digelar dengan skala lebih besar. Sebanyak 14 ribu petani dilibatkan, adapun 6 ribu di antaranya juga mengikuti kegiatan temu tani selama tujuh hari yang terbagi dalam 150 kelas pembelajaran.

Menurut Solikin, Gertek ini merupakan wujud dukungan bupati Mas Dhito terhadap program ketahanan pangan nasional sekaligus upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani melalui berbagai inovasi pertanian.

Di sisi lain, Mas Dhito juga terus mendorong peningkatan produktivitas pertanian melalui berbagai bantuan. Mulai dari bantuan benih padi, jagung, penyaluran ratusan alat dan mesin pertanian pada 2025 dan 2026, hingga sarana pendukung lainnya.

Sementara itu, Plt Kepala Dispertabun Kabupaten Kediri Sukadi mengatakan Gertek 2026 yang berlangsung pada 6-12 Juli menjadi sarana percepatan informasi terkait inovasi teknologi pertanian. “Tujuannya supaya para petani, khususnya anak muda, bisa melihat langsung perkembangan teknologi pertanian terbaru,” bebernya.

Di lokasi yang sama, Direktur Perbenihan Tanaman Hortikultura Direktorat Jenderal Hortikultura Kementerian Pertanian Tommy Nugraha menilai Kabupaten Kediri memiliki potensi besar di sektor pertanian.

“Kondisi lahan yang ada di sini mampu diatasi dengan teknologi yang tersedia saat ini. Tinggal bagaimana teknologi itu bisa menjawab tantangan di lapangan,” terangnya.(adv)
