JATIMTIMES - Netflix kembali memanjakan pencinta drama Korea (drakor) dengan mengumumkan serial original terbaru berjudul Take Charge of My Heart. Drama bergenre komedi romantis ini akan mempertemukan Kim Young Kwang dan Chae Soo Bin sebagai pemeran utama, dengan kisah unik yang memadukan romansa, fantasi, dan dunia konglomerat.

Serial ini pertama kali diperkenalkan dalam ajang Next on Netflix 2026 Korea. Take Charge of My Heart diadaptasi dari novel web populer Charge Me Up karya Hae Beon, sementara naskahnya ditulis Song Yoo Chae.

Sinopsis Take Charge of My Heart

Drama ini mengisahkan Baek Ho Rang (Kim Young Kwang), pewaris generasi ketiga keluarga konglomerat yang dipersiapkan menjadi penerus grup bisnis keluarganya. Di balik kehidupannya yang mewah, Ho Rang menyimpan rahasia besar. Ia bertahan hidup menggunakan jantung buatan yang ditenagai baterai, tetapi daya baterainya mulai melemah.

Di sisi lain ada Na Bo Bae (Chae Soo Bin), seorang penulis skenario yang memiliki kemampuan tak biasa. Sejak tersambar petir saat masih kecil, tubuhnya mampu menghasilkan aliran listrik sehingga setiap sentuhannya bisa menyetrum orang lain.

Kemampuan itu membuat Bo Bae kesulitan menjalin hubungan dengan orang lain. Namun, kondisi tersebut justru tidak berlaku pada Ho Rang. Bahkan, energi listrik yang dimiliki Bo Bae mampu mengisi ulang baterai jantung buatan Ho Rang.

Pertemuan keduanya pun menjadi awal kisah yang tak terduga. Di tengah persaingan sengit memperebutkan kendali perusahaan keluarga, Ho Rang menawarkan sebuah perjanjian kepada Bo Bae demi mempertahankan hidupnya.

Netflix belum mengumumkan tanggal penayangan secara spesifik. Namun, Take Charge of My Heart dipastikan masuk dalam daftar serial original yang dijadwalkan tayang pada kuartal keempat 2026.
