JATIMTIMES – Presiden Prabowo Subianto menutup secara resmi Musyawarah Nasional (Munas) dan Konferensi Besar (Konbes) Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) 2026 di IAI Syaichona Kholil, Bangkalan, Jawa Timur, Selasa (23/6/2026). Di hadapan 1.500-an tamu undangan, Presiden memberikan apresiasi tinggi atas kontribusi NU sebagai penyelamat bangsa di masa-masa krusial.
"NU selalu tampil di saat bangsa Indonesia dalam kondisi sulit. Warga NU adalah faktor stabilisator, faktor yang bisa membuat aman bangsa dan negara," tegas Presiden Prabowo.

Presiden mengungkapkan kedekatan emosionalnya yang panjang dengan NU, mulai dari masa kecil saat bertetangga dengan keluarga KH Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) di Jakarta hingga asal-usul neneknya yang warga NU.
"Saya merasa selalu nyaman di tengah-tengah keluarga besar NU. Nyaman dan aman. Saya kenal NU dari dulu lama sejak kecil," ungkapnya.
Ia juga memuji karakter NU yang tidak hanya religius tapi juga nasionalis dan patriotis, tercermin dari lagu Yalal Wathan yang diciptakan sebelum Indonesia merdeka.
"NU memang hebat, NU berada di mana-mana. Semua partai ada NU hari ini, jadi NU enggak pernah kalah," ujar Prabowo yang disambut gemuruh tepuk tangan hadirin.
Ulama NU sebagai Penyambung Lidah Rakyat Prabowo menilai NU memiliki jangkauan paling dekat dengan masyarakat akar rumput, sehingga para ulama sangat memahami penderitaan rakyat sesungguhnya. Karena itu, ia secara blak-blakan membeberkan kondisi riil keuangan negara di hadapan para kiai.
Presiden mengungkap data dari PBB yang diolah Dewan Ekonomi Nasional: Indonesia mengalami kerugian hingga 908 miliar dolar AS atau sekitar Rp15 ribu triliun selama 34 tahun akibat praktik under invoicing atau laporan palsu pengusaha yang melarikan kekayaan ke luar negeri.

Dalam 18 bulan kepemimpinannya, Prabowo mengklaim pemerintah telah mengambil alih lebih dari 5 juta hektare lahan sawit ilegal di hutan lindung, menutup ratusan tambang ilegal, serta mengevaluasi lebih dari seribu perusahaan BUMN — termasuk menutup sekitar 240 perusahaan tidak produktif dengan target hingga 800 perusahaan negara yang merugi.
Dana yang berhasil diselamatkan dari kebocoran tersebut, kata Presiden, kini dialihkan untuk program kerakyatan: perbaikan puluhan ribu sekolah dan madrasah, pembangunan jalan desa, peningkatan produksi pangan, serta program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG).
"Pemerintah saya yakin berada di jalan yang benar, di jalan kebenaran, kejujuran, dan mempertahankan kepentingan rakyat. Saya tidak akan kompromi satu rupiah pun," pungkasnya.
