JATIMTIMES - Ada satu momen yang sulit dijelaskan ketika berdiri di tengah hamparan kebun teh saat pagi hari. Udara dingin menyentuh wajah, aroma daun teh terbawa angin pegunungan, sementara kabut tipis perlahan bergerak di antara lekuk perbukitan hijau.

Perkebunan ini dibangun pada tahun 1910 pada masa pemerintahan kolonial Belanda dan menjadi salah satu sentra produksi teh penting di Jawa Timur. Setelah Indonesia merdeka, pengelolaannya beralih ke negara dan kini berada di bawah naungan PTPN XII.

Menariknya, pengunjung tidak hanya menikmati panorama alam. Mereka juga bisa melihat langsung aktivitas perkebunan hingga proses pengolahan teh melalui paket wisata edukasi yang tersedia.

Wisatawan diajak mengenal proses pemetikan pucuk teh, melihat mesin-mesin pengolahan yang masih beroperasi, hingga mengetahui bagaimana daun teh diolah menjadi minuman yang sehari-hari dinikmati masyarakat.

Pengalaman seperti ini menjadikan Wonosari tidak hanya menarik bagi keluarga, tetapi juga rombongan sekolah, mahasiswa, hingga wisatawan mancanegara.
