“Sebagai tuan rumah, kami memberikan jaminan keamanan kepada seluruh tim yang bertanding di Kota Batu. Kami bekerja sama dengan kepolisian, TNI, dan Satpol PP agar seluruh pertandingan berjalan aman dan lancar di sini,” kata Heli.
Menurut dia, pengalaman saat menjadi tuan rumah dalam sejumlah pertandingan sebelumnya menjadi modal penting untuk melakukan berbagai evaluasi, terutama terkait pengamanan di dalam maupun luar stadion. “Dalam sepak bola, kita tidak pernah tahu bagaimana situasi di lapangan, apakah berjalan santai atau memiliki tensi yang tinggi,” katanya.
Tak hanya aspek keamanan, pembenahan sarana dan prasarana juga menjadi perhatian. Pemerintah Kota Batu bersama manajemen Persikoba melakukan perbaikan lapangan serta penataan sejumlah fasilitas pendukung guna memberikan kenyamanan bagi pemain, ofisial, dan suporter yang hadir.
“Target kami selain memberikan jaminan keamanan dan kenyamanan tim tamu, juga meraih hasil maksimal dan lolos ke babak berikutnya tentunya,” ucap Heli.

Sementara itu, untuk menghadapi ketatnya persaingan di tingkat nasional, Persikoba melakukan sejumlah pembenahan kekuatan skuad. Pelatih Kepala Persikoba, Arif Suyono, mengungkapkan timnya mendatangkan enam pemain baru guna menambah kedalaman tim.
“Setelah lolos ke putaran nasional kami putuskan harus menambah kekuatan tim. Ada enam pemain baru yang masuk dalam skema untuk memperkuat Persikoba di babak 64 besar,” ucap Arif.
Dengan tambahan tersebut, Persikoba kini memiliki total 28 pemain yang siap bersaing memperebutkan tiket ke babak selanjutnya. Arif berharap komposisi skuad yang lebih lengkap mampu meningkatkan daya saing tim saat menghadapi lawan-lawan dari berbagai daerah.
Setelah menghadapi TS Saiburai Lampung pada laga pembuka, Persikoba akan melanjutkan perjuangannya melawan Persigubin Pegunungan Bintang pada Rabu (3/6/2026), sebelum menutup fase grup dengan menghadapi Persiharjo Sukoharjo pada Sabtu (6/6/2026).
