Partisipasi Kurban di MTsN 2 Kota Malang Meningkat, Siswa Diajak Belajar Ikhlas dan Berbagi

JATIMTIMES - Semangat berkurban di lingkungan MTsN 2 Kota Malang mengalami peningkatan pada Iduladha tahun ini. Pada moment Hari Raya Idul Adha 1447 H ini, total ada sebanyak 11 ekor hewan yang dikurbankan melalui MTsN 2 Kota Malang. 

11 ekor hewan kurban tersebut yakni 2 ekor sapi dan 9 ekor kambing. Sebelas ekor hewan kurban tersebut terkumpul dari partisipasi seluruh keluarga besar MTsN 2 Kota Malang. Baik siswa, orang tua, serta guru dan tenaga kependidikan.

Kepala MTsN 2 Kota Malang, Anita Yusianti, mengatakan kegiatan kurban menjadi momentum untuk menanamkan nilai keikhlasan dan kepedulian sosial kepada para siswa.

“Hari ini insyaallah kita akan menyembelih dua ekor sapi dan sembilan ekor kambing yang merupakan hasil partisipasi dari siswa, orang tua, dan juga Bapak/Ibu guru GTK,” ujar Anita, Kamis (28/5/2026).

Ia menjelaskan, hewan kurban tersebut berasal dari berbagai bentuk partisipasi warga sekolah. Untuk sapi, terdapat sistem patungan yang diikuti guru dan siswa. Sementara kambing berasal dari orang tua siswa yang berniat berkurban.

Selain itu, seluruh siswa kelas 7, 8, dan 9 juga diajak belajar berkurban melalui donasi sukarela. “Kita minta anak-anak untuk latihan berkurban. Nominalnya tidak kita tentukan, sukarela,” katanya.

Anita menyebut jumlah hewan kurban tahun ini meningkat dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya. Jika tahun lalu sekolah menyembelih dua sapi dan dua kambing, kini jumlah kambing bertambah menjadi sembilan ekor.

“Berarti ada peningkatan partisipasi juga,” ungkapnya.

Menurutnya, Iduladha bukan sekadar perayaan seremonial, tetapi menjadi sarana pembelajaran tentang keikhlasan dan ketaatan seperti yang dicontohkan Nabi Ibrahim dan Nabi Ismail.

“Kita memaknai tentang pengorbanan dan keikhlasan Nabi Ibrahim dan Nabi Ismail dalam menerima perintah Allah SWT. Bagaimana kita belajar ikhlas dan taat sebagai hamba Allah,” jelas Anita.

Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan, seluruh guru dan tenaga kependidikan turut terlibat. Sejumlah siswa OSIS juga membantu proses penyembelihan hingga distribusi daging kurban.

Daging kurban nantinya dibagikan kepada masyarakat sekitar sekolah, panti asuhan, serta warga sekolah yang berpartisipasi. Setiap kelas juga mendapat bagian daging yang akan diolah bersama paguyuban orang tua siswa.

“Besok akan ada makan bersama di kelas-kelas. Jadi anak-anak juga belajar kebersamaan dan berbagi,” katanya.

Anita berharap momentum Iduladha dapat mengajarkan rasa syukur sekaligus menumbuhkan kepedulian terhadap sesama, khususnya kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan.

“Kita belajar berbagi kepada mereka yang membutuhkan, fakir miskin, yatim piatu, seperti itu,” pungkasnya.
