Petugas Satlantas Polres Lamongan melakukan penindakan tilang kasat mata kepada pengendara sepeda motor yang melanggar dengan menggunakan ETLE Handheld.

JATIMTIMES - Satuan Lalu Lintas (Satlantas) Polres Lamongan resmi mengoperasikan sistem tilang elektronik bergerak atau Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) Handheld. Inovasi ini memungkinkan petugas menindak pelanggar lalu lintas hanya dengan menggunakan kamera telepon genggam (HP) khusus saat melakukan patroli rutin.

Penerapan ETLE Handheld menjadi langkah strategis dalam mendukung transformasi digital kepolisian. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu menciptakan budaya tertib berlalu lintas sekaligus meningkatkan transparansi dalam penegakan hukum di jalan raya.

Kasat Lantas Polres Lamongan AKP I Made Jata Wiranegara menjelaskan bahwa implementasi ETLE Handheld merupakan bagian dari program transformasi digital yang diinisiasi oleh Korlantas Polri.

“Melalui inovasi ini, petugas dapat melakukan penindakan pelanggaran secara mobile, cepat, dan akurat, termasuk di titik - titik yang belum terjangkau kamera ETLE statis,” ujar AKP Jata , Jumat (24/4/2026).

Ia menambahkan, perangkat modern tersebut mampu merekam pelanggaran secara langsung di lapangan. Bahkan, bukti pelanggaran dapat dicetak di lokasi lengkap dengan barcode, sehingga proses penindakan menjadi lebih transparan dan efisien.

Berbeda dengan ETLE statis yang hanya memantau di persimpangan tertentu, ETLE Handheld memberikan fleksibilitas tinggi bagi petugas. Dengan perangkat berupa HP khusus, petugas patroli dapat menjangkau lokasi rawan pelanggaran yang selama ini sulit terpantau.

"Perangkat ini telah terintegrasi langsung dengan pusat data nasional. Cara kerjanya cukup sederhana, petugas mendokumentasikan pelanggaran kasat mata, seperti pengendara yang tidak menggunakan helm, melawan arus, hingga menggunakan ponsel saat berkendara," jelasnya.

Selanjutnya, data foto tersebut dikirim secara otomatis ke sistem pusat untuk diverifikasi sebelum diproses lebih lanjut. Dalam penerapannya, terdapat dua mekanisme penindakan. Pertama, mekanisme tanpa henti, di mana pelanggaran direkam saat patroli tanpa menghentikan kendaraan. Data kemudian diverifikasi dan surat konfirmasi dikirim ke alamat pemilik kendaraan.

Dengan sifatnya yang dinamis, ETLE Handheld dinilai sebagai solusi efektif dalam meningkatkan pengawasan lalu lintas. Selain itu, sistem ini  menjadi upaya konkret dalam meningkatkan disiplin masyarakat dalam berlalu lintas, menekan angka kecelakaan di Jalan raya dan mewujudkan pelayanan kepolisian yang profesional dan berintegritas.

"Kami berharap kehadiran ETLE Handheld dapat mendorong kesadaran masyarakat untuk lebih patuh terhadap aturan lalu lintas, sehingga tercipta keamanan, keselamatan, ketertiban, dan kelancaran berlalu lintas di wilayah Lamongan," pungkasnya.
