JATIMTIMES - Dugaan kasus pelecehan yang menyeret mahasiswa Fakultas Hukum Universitas Jember (FH Unej) ramai diperbincangkan di media sosial. Kasus ini mencuat setelah kronologinya diunggah akun X @sp3akyourp4in.
Peristiwa ini disebut bermula pada 28 Mei 2024. Saat itu, seorang perempuan berinisial M yang merupakan pasangan terduga pelaku membuka ponsel sang pacar. Dari situlah, ia menemukan folder tersembunyi di galeri.

“Semua dimulai saat M yang notabene menjalin hubungan dengan pelaku membuka dan mengecek handphone pelaku pada tanggal 28 Mei 2024. Di sana M menemukan file hidden di galeri pelaku,” tulis akun tersebut.
Saat folder tersebut dibuka, M dibuat terkejut. Isinya berupa banyak tangkapan layar dan foto perempuan yang diduga diambil tanpa izin. Bahkan, beberapa gambar tampak diperbesar pada bagian tubuh tertentu.
“Saat dibuka, ditemukan banyak sekali screenshot dan foto perempuan teman-teman M dan pelaku yang di-zoom pada bagian bokong dan dada,” lanjut unggahan tersebut.
Yang membuat situasi makin memprihatinkan, banyak perempuan dalam foto itu justru berasal dari lingkungan terdekat pelaku. Mereka disebut sebagai teman satu circle, bahkan ada yang sering beraktivitas bersama tanpa curiga.
“Banyak dari foto perempuan di file tsb adalah teman dekat M sendiri bahkan yang sering hangout dengan pelaku tanpa mencurigai apa pun,” tulisnya lagi.
Mengetahui hal itu, M langsung mengonfrontasi pelaku. Ia meminta agar seluruh file dihapus saat itu juga. Tak hanya itu, M juga berinisiatif meminta maaf kepada korban yang ia kenal.
“Hal ini pun langsung dikonfrontasi oleh M selaku pacar pelaku dan menyuruh pelaku untuk menghapus semua foto itu secara langsung didepannya,” tulis akun tersebut.
Dalam unggahan yang sama, disebutkan bahwa sebagian bukti juga sempat didokumentasikan dalam bentuk video oleh salah satu korban.
Kasus ini disebut sempat dibicarakan di lingkungan pertemanan pelaku. Namun respons yang muncul dinilai tidak serius. “Hal ini sudah dibicarakan M kepada teman-teman pelaku. Namun respons teman-teman pelaku hanya menganggap angin lalu dan memberitahukan kepada pelaku untuk ‘tidak mengulanginya lagi’,” bunyi unggahan tersebut.

Meski kejadian ini sudah berlangsung sejak 2024, para korban baru berani bersuara belakangan ini. Mereka mengaku selama ini merasa takut dan tidak memiliki kekuatan untuk mengungkapkannya.
“Banyak yang masih gemetar dan ke trigger dengan memori ini. Mengapa baru sekarang? para korban baru berani untuk bersuara karena backingan pelaku dianggap kuat,” tulis akun tersebut.
“KORBAN TAKUT DAN GELISAH. bayangkan jika laki-laki yang dianggap teman ternyata menyimpan tabiat yang tidak menyisakan ruang aman bagi perempuan,” lanjutnya.
Kasus ini pun kembali memantik perdebatan soal keamanan di lingkungan kampus. Banyak warganet menilai, kampus seharusnya menjadi tempat yang aman bagi mahasiswa, bukan justru menimbulkan rasa waswas.
“Perempuan layak merasa aman untuk membagikan foto dan video di PLATFORM SOSIAL MEDIA PRIBADI tanpa bayang bayang ketakutan menjadi bahan imajinasi seksual oleh laki-laki cabul!” demikian isi unggahan tersebut.
Hingga kini, belum ada keterangan resmi dari pihak kampus terkait dugaan kasus tersebut.
