JATIMTIMES - Wisata alam Coban Putri, Kota Batu tak hanya menawarkan keindahan panorama pegunungan yang asri, tetapi juga menghadirkan pengalaman ekstrem yang memacu adrenalin, yakni canyoning. Aktivitas ini kini menjadi daya tarik utama bagi wisatawan yang ingin merasakan sensasi berbeda saat berlibur di alam terbuka.
Canyoning di Coban Putri mengajak pengunjung menyusuri aliran sungai hingga menuruni air terjun setinggi sekitar 35 meter. Dengan kombinasi aktivitas berjalan di bebatuan, memanjat, melompat, berenang, hingga teknik turun tebing (rapelling), pengalaman ini menjadi paket lengkap bagi pecinta petualangan.

Owner Ciliwung Camp Canyoning, Maksum, mengatakan minat terhadap canyoning terus meningkat, terutama sejak aktivitas ini ramai diperbincangkan di media sosial. “Sekarang canyoning lagi viral, jadi banyak yang penasaran dan ingin mencoba langsung sensasinya di sini,” kata Maksum.
Setiap sesi canyoning dibatasi sekitar 10 peserta demi menjaga keamanan dan kenyamanan. Bahkan, dalam banyak kesempatan, kuota tersebut selalu terisi penuh.
“Hampir setiap open trip selalu full. Apalagi kalau akhir pekan, peminatnya lebih banyak,” tambahnya.
Sebelum memulai petualangan, peserta wajib mengikuti briefing dan simulasi dasar, khususnya bagi pemula. Hal ini dilakukan untuk memastikan seluruh peserta memahami teknik dan prosedur keselamatan selama kegiatan berlangsung.
Salah satu wisatawan asal Gresik, Chika Santri (32), mengaku tertarik mencoba canyoning setelah melihat kontennya di media sosial. “Kebetulan saya suka olahraga dan eksplor alam, jadi langsung tertarik. Ternyata seru banget dan aman karena didampingi instruktur,” ungkapnya.
Selain pengalaman ekstrem, peserta juga mendapatkan dokumentasi foto selama kegiatan berlangsung, yang menjadi nilai tambah tersendiri bagi wisatawan. “Seru dan punya pengalaman yang bisa diceritakan,” imbuh Chika.

Sementara itu, petugas Coban Putri, Oky, menambahkan canyoning bersama glamping menjadi aktivitas yang paling diminati di kawasan Coban Putri. Namun, untuk mengikuti canyoning, pengunjung harus melakukan reservasi terlebih dahulu.
“Karena sistemnya paket dan menyesuaikan permintaan, jadi harus booking lewat admin dulu,” jelasnya.
Dengan biaya sekitar Rp 350 ribu per orang, wisatawan sudah bisa merasakan pengalaman petualangan yang tak biasa di tengah alam. Kombinasi tantangan, keindahan alam, serta standar keamanan yang terjaga membuat canyoning di Coban Putri semakin diminati dan berpotensi menjadi ikon wisata petualangan di Kota Batu.
