JATIMTIMES- Persatuan Sepak Bola Seluruh Indonesia (PSSI) berjanji akan mempercepat kongres Asprov PSSI di daerah. Ini guna mengisi adanya kepengurusan baru PSSI di tingkat provinsi. 

Saat ini beberapa ketua di Asprov PSSI daerah banyak yang kosong. Dan untuk sementara ini PSSI menunjuk sosok Plt (pelaksana tugas). Termasuk juga di Jawa Timur yang diisi oleh Kairul Anwar.

Sekjend PSSI Yunus Nusi menyampaikan berdasar surat edaran PSSI yang diterbitkan tahun 2025 lalu akan ada penyetaraan masa periode kepengurusan PSSI di seluruh Indonesia. 

"Jadi disetarakan satu tahun bersamaan seluruh Indonesia. PSSI provinsi berlaku masa periode awal," ujarnya saat ditemui di Surabaya usai bermain bola dengan wartawan. 

Menurut dia pihaknya masih menunggu keputusan rapat Eksekutif Komite (Exco) soal kongres Asprov PSSI ini. "Bisa saja tahun ini sebelum kongres PSSI 2027," beber Yunus. 

Di Jawa Timur sendiri yang telah mendaftar sebagai calon tunggal adalah Raja Siahaan sebelum kemudian kongres ditunda. Bagi Yunus hal tersebut sah saja dan masih bisa diteruskan nantinya apabila syarat pendaftaran yang akan dilihat kembali oleh Plt memang lengkap. 

"Itu kita kembalikan kepada ke Plt. Bila memenuhi persyaratan Plt melihat sedemikian sesuai dengan aturan berlaku dipersilahkan," tuturnya.

Sebelumnya Asprov PSSI Jatim selama dua periode telah dipimpin oleh Ahmad Riyadh. Yunus mengkonfirmasi sebenarnya boleh saja Riyadh memimpin kembali. Karena aturan yang berlaku adalah boleh maju hingga tiga periode. "Tapi Pak Riyadh tidak mendaftar ya kemarin," lanjut pria asal Sulawesi ini. 

Yunus pun mengaku telah mengonfirmasi langsung hal tersebut kepada Riyadh. Bahwa yang bersangkutan sudah tidak ingin kembali menjabat juga. Sehingga periode selanjutnya atau tahun 2026-2030 adalah sosok baru yang akan memimpin Asprov PSSI Jatim nantinya. 

Soal Plt Asprov PSSI Kairul Anwar adalah sosok asing di publik sepak bola Jatim bagi Yunus tak hanya terjadi di sini. "Di NTB juga asing, orang Jawa si Muhammad. Di Sulsel dipimpin orang Jakarta. Jadi pasti asing," tegasnya. 

"Tapi kita tak melihat orang baru atau tidak. Tapi miliki kapabilitas atau tidak. Plt untuk menyiapkan kongres dan melaksanakan program yang ada di provinsi," imbuhnya.
