JATIMTIMES - Tren pernikahan di kalangan generasi muda kini mengalami perubahan signifikan. Jika sebelumnya pesta pernikahan identik dengan undangan dalam jumlah besar dan kemegahan acara, kini konsep yang lebih intim dan personal justru semakin diminati, khususnya oleh gen Z.

Hal ini dibeberkan Sekretaris Umum Himpunan Ahli Rias Pengantin (Hastana) Indonesia Kiki Indah Permata, yang melihat adanya pergeseran preferensi dalam industri wedding. Menurut dia, pasangan masa kini tidak lagi hanya fokus pada jumlah tamu, melainkan pada pengalaman yang dirasakan setiap undangan.

“Sekarang trennya sudah berbeda. Dulu pernikahan itu berfokus pada jumlah tamu yang bisa mencapai 1.000 sampai 2.000 orang. Tapi sekarang lebih intimate, jumlahnya lebih kecil,” kata Kiki, Sabtu (18/4/2026).

Ia menjelaskan, pasangan pengantin kini lebih memperhatikan detail acara, termasuk elemen-elemen yang mampu memberikan kesan mendalam bagi tamu. Salah satu yang mulai banyak diminati adalah penggunaan aromaterapi dalam rangkaian acara pernikahan pada ruangan.

Aromaterapi tidak hanya sekadar pengharum ruangan, tetapi menjadi bagian dari konsep yang dipersonalisasi sesuai karakter pengantin. Mulai dari area penyambutan hingga sudut acara, aroma tertentu dipilih untuk menciptakan suasana yang hangat dan berkesan.

“Sekarang bahkan aromaterapi dipilih secara spesifik, disesuaikan dengan selera mempelai dan keluarga. Jadi, suasana acara terasa lebih personal dan punya ciri khas,” jelasnya saat di The Alana Hotel Malang.

Tak hanya itu. Tren ini juga merambah ke berbagai elemen lain dalam pernikahan, yakni suvenir. Jika sebelumnya vendor yang diprioritaskan hanya sebatas makanan dan dokumentasi, kini pasangan mulai mengeksplorasi lebih banyak detail untuk memperkaya pengalaman tamu.

Suvenir, misalnya, kini tidak lagi sekadar formalitas, tetapi dirancang agar memiliki nilai guna sekaligus kesan emosional. Bahkan katering yang semakin variatif, tidak hanya dari segi rasa tetapi juga konsep penyajian.

“Sekarang bukan hanya katering, foto, dan video saja. Banyak item lain yang dibuat lebih detail, termasuk suvenir dan elemen pendukung lainnya,” tutup Kiki.
