JATIMTIMES - Kebakaran terjadi pada sebuah gudang pabrik pelet atau briket di Desa Gondanglegi Kulon, Kecamatan Gondanglegi, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur, Rabu (15/4/2026). Kebakaran diduga dipicu karena korsleting listrik. Sementara untuk kerugian material ditaksir mencapai puluhan juta.

Informasi adanya kebakaran tersebut juga turut viral dan beredar di sejumlah WhatsApp Grup. Berdasarkan dokumentasi yang dihimpun JatimTIMES pada Kamis (16/4/2026), nampak kobaran api dan kepulan asap yang cukup besar dari dalam gudang pabrik tersebut.

Di sisi lain, juga nampak beberapa mobil pemadam dan petugas pemadam kebakaran (Damkar) yang diterjunkan ke lokasi kejadian. Banyaknya material yang mudah terbakar seperti kayu yang ada di lokasi kejadian, diduga menyebabkan api cepat merambat dan membesar. Hal itu juga dikuatkan dengan banyaknya titik api yang dipadamkan oleh petugas Damkar.

Ketika dikonfirmasi, Komandan Pleton (Danton) Seksi Penanggulangan Bidang Damkar Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) Kabupaten Malang Andik Minarko menyebut, peristiwa kebakaran yang kini viral tersebut terjadi pada Rabu (15/4/2026). "Indikasi sumber api penyebab kebakaran diduga karena korsleting listrik," ujarnya saat dikonfirmasi JatimTIMES, Kamis (16/4/2026).

Data Damkar mengungkapkan, gudang pabrik pelet dengan luas sekitar 500 meter persegi yang ludes terbakar tersebut milik Saiful Bahri (45) warga Desa Gondanglegi Kulon, Kecamatan Gondanglegi, Kabupaten Malang. "Nihil korban jiwa, kerugian material kurang lebih Rp50 juta," ujarnya.

Peristiwa kebakaran tersebut diketahui pertama kali oleh satpam pabrik. Saksi ketika itu melihat munculnya asap dari tumpukan limbah kayu yang berdekatan dengan panel listrik.

Peristiwa tersebut oleh satpam yang bertugas kemudian diberitahukan kepada pemilik pabrik yang rumahnya kebetulan berdekatan dengan lokasi kejadian. Di sisi lain, warga yang mengetahui peristiwa tersebut akhirnya menghubungi Damkar Kabupaten Malang lantaran api terus membesar.

"Damkar Kabupaten Malang menerjunkan empat unit mobil Damkar ke lokasi kejadian sesaat setelah menerima laporan," ujar Andik.

Proses pemadaman kebakaran oleh Damkar Kabupaten Malang saat itu juga turut dibantu oleh CV. Sayap Mas. Yakni dengan mengirimkan satu unit kendaraan pemadam kebakaran dan tiga unit mobil tangki.

"Api akhirnya berhasil dipadamkan sekitar tiga jam setelah petugas melakukan tindakan dan penanggulangan kebakaran di lokasi kejadian," pungkas Andik.
