JATIMTIMES – Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub) Kota Batu mulai mengembalikan fungsi Jalur Klemuk atau Jalan Rajekwesi Songgokerto Batu sebagai jalan non-mobil. Mulai Selasa (14/4/2026) pagi, petugas kembali memasang barrier beton di titik perbatasan Kota Batu dan Kecamatan Pujon guna mencegah kendaraan roda empat melintasi jalur ekstrem tersebut.

Langkah ini diambil menyusul normalnya arus lalu lintas di kawasan Payung setelah penanganan longsor beberapa waktu lalu. Sebelumnya, barrier di Klemuk memang sempat dibuka sementara untuk mengurai kemacetan dan menjadi jalur alternatif darurat.

Kepala Seksi Sarana dan Prasarana Dishub Kota Batu, Tony Hermasyah, menjelaskan bahwa pengembalian barrier ini merupakan bagian dari prosedur standar keselamatan. Berdasarkan laporan kepolisian, pembukaan Jalur Klemuk oleh kendaraan roda empat untuk masa darurat longsor telah berakhir.

"Laporan dari kepolisian, jalur ini kemarin memang difungsikan sebagai alternatif saat terjadi longsor di kawasan Payung. Sekarang jalur Payung sudah normal, maka barrier beton kami pasang kembali," ungkap Tony saat ditemui di lokasi pemasangan, Selasa (14/4/2026).

Tidak hanya sekadar meletakkan beton, petugas juga melakukan proses pengecoran semi permanen di titik penghubung Batu–Pujon. Hal ini bertujuan agar penghalang tersebut tidak mudah digeser dan memastikan kendaraan roda empat benar-benar tidak bisa melintas.

Selain penutupan bagi mobil, Dishub Kota Batu juga mengeluarkan imbauan tegas bagi pengendara roda dua. Jalur Klemuk dikenal memiliki kontur turunan yang sangat curam dan panjang, yang seringkali memicu terjadinya insiden rem blong.

Tragedi memilukan sempat terjadi saat masa libur Idul Fitri lalu, di mana seorang pengendara motor matic harus kehilangan nyawa akibat kegagalan fungsi rem di jalur tersebut.

“Kami sangat mengimbau agar pengendara, terutama pengguna motor matic, untuk tidak melewati jalur ini. Sangat berbahaya jika dipaksakan karena konturnya yang ekstrem,” tegas Tony.

Selama proses pemasangan barrier dan pengecoran berlangsung, sambungnya, Dishub memberlakukan penutupan total sementara. Seluruh kendaraan, baik dari arah Kota Batu maupun arah Pujon, dilarang melintas hingga pekerjaan dinyatakan selesai 100 persen.

"Untuk sementara ditutup dulu demi keamanan bersama sampai proses pemasangan dan pengecoran ini benar-benar tuntas," pungkas salah satu petugas di lapangan.

Masyarakat yang hendak menuju arah Pujon atau sebaliknya diarahkan untuk menggunakan jalur utama melalui kawasan Payung yang kini telah aman dan lancar untuk dilalui.
