JATIMTIMES - Seorang pedagang regginang kencana khas Desa Sambigede, Kecamatan Sumberpucung, Kabupaten Malang, yakni Muhammad Azmi (35), telah berhasil memanfaatkan platform digital untuk penjualan produknya hingga pendapatannya melonjak drastis.
Pria yang akrab disapa Azmi ini bercerita bahwa awal mulanya penjualan produk rengginang kencana yang merupakan usaha keluarganya ini dijual secara konvensional melalui toko-toko atau pasar tradisional.

Namun, seiring berjalannya waktu, sekitar tahun 2022, Azmi mulai mendalami dan mengeksplorasi berbagai platform digital untuk penjualan produk rengginang kencana. Saat awal memulai berjualan di platform digital di bulan pertama, paket rengginang kencana miliknya yang terjual tidak sampai 10 paket.
Melaluk berbagai proses pasang surutnya dunia bisnis, Azmi juga mulai memahami berbagai fitur platform digital, mulai dari pengelolaan toko, hingga strategi penjualan. Hasilnya, dalam beberapa tahun berikutnya, penjualannya menunjukkan tren positif.
"Pada bulan Ramadan satu hari bisa tembus 1.000 paket rengginang. Sedangkan pada hari biasa, penjualan di angka puluhan hingga 100 paket. Jadi ada peningkatan 20 kali lipat, Alhamdulillah," ungkap Azmi.
Jika dilihat dari sisi omzet, pada periode Bulan Suci Ramadan 1447 Hijriah/tahun 2026, Azmi mengaku mampu mencatat pendapatan hingga Rp 100 juta per bulan. Sementara di luar periode tersebut, omzet berkisar antara Rp 10 juta hingga di bawah Rp 30 juta.
Untuk mendapatkan hasil yang meningkat itu, Azmi juga berinovasi dalam mengembangkan rasa dari rengginang kencana ya ia jual. Sebelumnya, rengginang kencana hanya memiliki dua varian rasa, yakni bawang dan terasi. Kemudian, setelah dilakukan riset, Azmi menambah lima rasa baru, yakni rasa udang, ikan, cumi, ketan hitam manis dan pandan manis.
Azmi juga membeberkan beberapa strategi penjualan produk rengginang kencana melalui platform digital e-commerce. Menurut Azmi, penggunaan e-commerce untuk berjualan merupakan langkah yang tepat. Hal itu untuk menjaga branding produk serta menjaga ekosistem reseller dengan penetapan harga berbeda antara pasar ritel maupun grosir.
"Kalau di e-commerce seperti Shopee itu saya pakai untuk branding. Jadi, mereka bisa jual dengan harga saya di Shopee. Jadi, kita tidak mematikan pasar mereka. Biasanya satu kota saya kasih satu reseller. Kalau ada permintaan lebih dari dua, tidak saya kasih, biar nggak rebutan," jelas Azmi.
Ia menyebut, ekspansi produk rengginang kencana sudah menjangkau ke berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Mulai dari Surabaya, Sidoarjo, hingga tembus ke Kalimantan dan yang paling jauh ke Papua. Hal itu membuat Azmi memiliki harapan besar produk rengginang kencana bisa dikenal oleh seluruh penjuru di Indonesia maupun luar negeri.

"Keinginan saya, satu kota satu reseller. Jadi, rengginang kencana Sambigede bisa dikenal hingga pelosok negeri," kata Azmi.
Lebih lanjut, dalam menjalankan unit usahanya ini, Azmi juga mengajak masyarakat sekitar untuk membantu memproduksi rengginang kencana. Setidaknya hingga saat ini, Azmi udah menyerap tujuh orang karyawan dari lingkungan sekitar.
Namun, ia mengaku memiliki beberapa kendala dalam menjalankan unit usaha berjualan produk rengginang kencana ini. Mulai dari ketersediaan bahan baku hingga modal usaha ketika permintaan dari konsumen melonjak drastis.
Lonjakan permintaan pada momentum Bulan Suci Ramadan 1447/tahun 2026, misalnya, juga sempat membuatnya ragu dan bingung. "Saya itu bingung, pesanan sebanyak ini benar atau tidak, penipuan atau tidak. Akhirnya saya memastikan bukan penipuan dan memenuhi permintaan dengan tambahan modal pribadi," ungkap Azmi.
Untuk menjaga keberlanjutan usaha penjualan rengginang kencana yang telah dirintis keluarganya ini, Azmi berkeinginan untuk membeli tambahan alat, yakni mesin pemanas atau oven. Menurut dia, kebutuhan mesin pemanas atau oven itu untuk memenuhi permintaan dari konsumen yang harus diselesaikan tepat waktu.
"Sejauh ini usaha milik saya hanya mengandalkan sinar matahari. Jika mendung, produksi yang harus selesai tiga hari jadi molor sampai lima hari atau satu minggu. Makanya saya ingin punya mesin oven," pungkas Azmi.
