JATIMTIMES – Hujan dengan intensitas tinggi yang mengguyur wilayah Kota Batu kembali memicu bencana tanah longsor. Terbaru, tanah longsor menutup akses vital di jalur alternatif Dusun Brau menuju kawasan wisata Paralayang (Batu–Pujon), Desa Gunungsari, Kecamatan Bumiaji, pada Rabu (8/4/2026) sore.

Kejadian yang berlangsung sekitar pukul 14.45 WIB tersebut sempat memutus arus lalu lintas akibat dimensi longsor yang cukup besar, yakni setinggi 8 meter dengan panjang mencapai 12 meter.

Kepala Pelaksana (Kalaksa) BPBD Kota Batu, Suwoko, menjelaskan bahwa bencana ini dipicu oleh kondisi tanah pada plengsengan non-teknis yang menjadi labil setelah diguyur hujan lebat sejak siang hari.

"Akibat tanah yang labil, terjadi longsor dengan dimensi panjang 12 meter, lebar 5 meter, dan tinggi 8 meter. Material tanah langsung menutup badan jalan di jalur alternatif Brau–Paralayang, sehingga arus kendaraan sempat terganggu total," ungkap Suwoko saat dikonfirmasi, Rabu sore.

Mendapati laporan tersebut, Tim Reaksi Cepat (TRC) BPBD Kota Batu diterjunkan ke lokasi untuk melakukan kaji cepat dan koordinasi. Proses pembersihan material dilakukan secara gotong royong melibatkan personel TNI, Perangkat Desa Gunungsari, Tagana, Agen Informasi Bencana Jatim, serta relawan dan warga setempat.

"Berkat sinergi petugas di lapangan dan warga, proses pembersihan material longsor dapat dilakukan dengan cepat. Saat ini, akses jalan sudah berhasil dibuka kembali dan arus lalu lintas telah normal," tambahnya.

Meski jalan sudah bisa dilalui, BPBD Kota Batu tetap memberikan penanganan darurat sementara berupa pemberian karung (sandbag) dan bantuan logistik untuk mendukung kerja bakti lanjutan pasca-bencana.

Suwoko mengimbau kepada masyarakat maupun wisatawan yang kerap melintasi jalur alternatif Bumiaji-Pujon agar tetap waspada, terutama saat hujan deras kembali mengguyur.

"Kami mengimbau masyarakat untuk berhati-hati saat melintasi wilayah rawan longsor, khususnya di kawasan perbukitan seperti Dusun Brau ini. Kondisi cuaca masih fluktuatif, kewaspadaan adalah kunci utama," pungkas Kalaksa BPBD Kota Batu tersebut.

Beruntung, tidak ada korban jiwa dalam peristiwa ini. Petugas masih terus bersiaga di Pusdalops guna memantau titik-titik rawan bencana lainnya di wilayah Kota Batu.
