JATIMTIMES - Pemerintah Israel akhirnya buka suara terkait kesepakatan gencatan senjata sementara antara Iran dan Amerika Serikat. Melalui kantor Perdana Menteri Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel menyatakan dukungan terhadap langkah Presiden Donald Trump yang menghentikan serangan militer selama dua minggu.

Gencatan senjata ini muncul setelah konflik yang berlangsung lebih dari sebulan antara Washington dan Teheran. Salah satu poin penting dalam kesepakatan tersebut adalah pembukaan kembali Selat Hormuz, jalur vital distribusi minyak dan gas dunia yang sempat terganggu akibat perang.

Dalam pernyataannya, kantor Netanyahu menegaskan bahwa Israel berada di belakang keputusan Amerika Serikat, dengan sejumlah syarat yang harus dipenuhi oleh Iran.

“Israel mendukung keputusan Presiden Trump untuk menghentikan serangan selama dua minggu, dengan catatan Iran segera membuka Selat Hormuz dan menghentikan seluruh aksi agresi terhadap AS, Israel, serta negara-negara di kawasan,” demikian pernyataan resmi tersebut, seperti dilansir AFP, Rabu (8/4/2026).

Tak hanya itu, Israel juga menekankan pentingnya memastikan Iran tidak lagi menjadi ancaman, baik dari sisi program nuklir, pengembangan rudal, maupun dukungan terhadap kelompok yang dianggap sebagai jaringan teror di kawasan Timur Tengah.

Pernyataan ini dirilis hanya beberapa jam setelah Trump mengumumkan kesepakatan gencatan senjata melalui platform media sosialnya, Truth Social, pada Selasa (7/4) malam waktu setempat.

Menurut Israel, Amerika Serikat juga telah memberikan jaminan bahwa tujuan bersama termasuk menjaga stabilitas kawasan dan menekan ancaman dari Iran akan tetap menjadi prioritas dalam proses negosiasi selanjutnya.

Di sisi lain, Israel juga meluruskan adanya perbedaan informasi terkait cakupan wilayah gencatan senjata. Pemerintah Israel menegaskan bahwa kesepakatan tersebut tidak mencakup Lebanon, yang selama ini dikenal sebagai basis kelompok Hizbullah.

Hal ini berbeda dengan pernyataan sebelumnya dari Perdana Menteri Shehbaz Sharif, yang berperan sebagai mediator. Ia sempat menyebut bahwa gencatan senjata berlaku di semua wilayah, termasuk Lebanon.

Perbedaan pandangan ini menunjukkan bahwa masih ada sejumlah detail teknis yang belum sepenuhnya selaras di antara para pihak. Meski begitu, kesepakatan gencatan senjata ini tetap menjadi sinyal positif di tengah ketegangan yang sempat memanas di kawasan.
