JATIMTIMES - Aksi pencurian kendaraan bermotor kembali meresahkan warga Kota Malang, khususnya di kawasan permukiman kos. Kali ini, peristiwa tersebut menimpa seorang penghuni kos di Kelurahan Tlogomas, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, kehilangan sepeda motornya saat tengah beristirahat usai bekerja hingga dini hari.
Korban diketahui bernama Raka (22). Ia baru menyadari motornya hilang beberapa jam setelah kejadian, tepatnya saat hendak keluar membeli makanan pada sore hari. Padahal, sebelumnya ia sempat memarkir kendaraan dalam kondisi aman seperti biasa.

“Saya pulang sekitar pukul 03.40 WIB, parkir motor di tempat biasa. Pintu kos memang ditutup, tapi tidak dikunci,” ungkap Raka, Minggu (5/4/2026).
Setelah memarkir kendaraan, Raka yang kelelahan langsung beristirahat dan tertidur pulas. Kondisi tersebut diduga dimanfaatkan pelaku untuk melancarkan aksinya. Saat bangun di sore hari, ia mendapati motornya sudah tidak berada di tempat.
Raka menambahkan, sepeda motor miliknya sebenarnya sudah dilengkapi dengan pengamanan berlapis. Selain kunci stang, ia juga menggunakan kunci tambahan. Namun, hal itu ternyata belum cukup untuk mencegah aksi pelaku yang diduga sudah mengincar target.
“Motor sudah saya kunci ganda, tapi tetap bisa dibawa kabur. Kemungkinan pelaku sudah membuntuti dari awal dan tahu kondisi sekitar,” jelasnya.
Lingkungan kos yang berada di dalam gang permukiman dan relatif sepi pada dini hari menjadi celah bagi pelaku untuk beraksi. Terlebih, mayoritas penghuni kos merupakan pekerja yang pulang larut malam dan langsung beristirahat, sehingga pengawasan di sekitar lokasi menjadi minim.

Kejadian pencurian motor di kawasan tersebut bukan kali pertama terjadi. Beberapa penghuni kos lainnya juga pernah mengalami kejadian serupa, dengan pola yang hampir sama pelaku beraksi saat situasi sepi dan penghuni lengah.
“Sepertinya pelaku memang memanfaatkan kondisi kos yang penghuninya sering pulang malam. Saat semua orang istirahat, situasi jadi sangat sepi,” tambah Raka.
Kasus pencurian ini telah dilaporkan kepada pihak kepolisian dan saat ini tengah dalam proses penyelidikan oleh Polresta Malang Kota. Aparat diharapkan dapat segera mengungkap pelaku, mengingat kejadian serupa sudah berulang di lokasi yang sama.
