JATIMTIMES - Komitmen terhadap perlindungan pekerja tidak hanya diwujudkan melalui penyelenggaraan program jaminan sosial ketenagakerjaan. BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Blitar juga terus memperkuat peran sosialnya melalui berbagai kegiatan yang memberikan manfaat langsung kepada masyarakat, salah satunya lewat program Employee Volunteering Go Green.
Kegiatan yang mengusung tema "Bersama Mewujudkan Masa Depan yang Lebih Hijau" tersebut dilaksanakan bersama seluruh karyawan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Blitar dan warga RW 3 Kelurahan Rembang, Kecamatan Sananwetan, Kota Blitar. Dalam kegiatan itu, peserta melakukan aksi penghijauan melalui penyerahan bibit tanaman sekaligus penanaman pohon sebagai upaya menjaga kelestarian lingkungan.

Aksi tersebut menjadi wujud nyata kepedulian BPJS Ketenagakerjaan terhadap isu lingkungan sekaligus memperkuat budaya gotong royong bersama masyarakat. Melalui kolaborasi tersebut, perusahaan berharap semangat menjaga kelestarian alam dapat tumbuh menjadi gerakan bersama yang berkelanjutan.

Menurutnya, kegiatan penghijauan seperti ini menjadi langkah positif dalam membangun kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga kualitas lingkungan hidup.
"Kami mengapresiasi inisiatif BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Blitar yang melibatkan masyarakat dalam kegiatan penghijauan. Penanaman pohon bukan sekadar seremonial, tetapi merupakan investasi jangka panjang untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih sehat dan nyaman bagi warga," ujarnya.
Program Employee Volunteering sendiri merupakan agenda sosial yang dilaksanakan secara sukarela oleh insan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan melalui partisipasi aktif dalam berbagai kegiatan kemasyarakatan. Program ini menjadi bagian dari komitmen perusahaan dalam menjalankan tanggung jawab sosial sekaligus membangun hubungan yang harmonis dengan masyarakat.
Kepala BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Blitar, Ahmad Pauzi, mengatakan kegiatan tersebut tidak hanya bertujuan menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih hijau, tetapi juga memperkuat kepedulian sosial serta semangat kebersamaan di tengah masyarakat.

"Melalui Employee Volunteering Go Green, kami ingin memberikan manfaat nyata bagi lingkungan sekaligus mengajak masyarakat untuk bersama-sama menjaga kelestarian alam. Kepedulian terhadap lingkungan merupakan tanggung jawab bersama yang harus terus kita bangun," kata Ahmad Pauzi.
Dalam kegiatan tersebut, berbagai jenis bibit pohon ditanam di sejumlah titik lingkungan RW 3 Kelurahan Rembang. Pohon-pohon tersebut diharapkan mampu memberikan manfaat jangka panjang, mulai dari meningkatkan kualitas udara, menciptakan kawasan yang lebih asri, hingga mendukung upaya mitigasi perubahan iklim di tingkat lokal.
Melalui Employee Volunteering Go Green, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan menegaskan komitmennya menghadirkan manfaat bagi masyarakat, tidak hanya melalui perlindungan pekerja, tetapi juga lewat aksi nyata mewujudkan lingkungan yang lebih hijau dan berkelanjutan.
