Doa ini berisi pujian kepada Allah SWT, permohonan keselamatan, serta pengakuan bahwa hanya Allah sebaik-baik pelindung dan penolong bagi hamba-Nya.
2. Doa Asyura dalam Kitab Kanzun Najah wa Surur Doa berikut juga berasal dari kitab yang sama dan disebut dapat diamalkan sejak 1 Muharram hingga 10 Muharram.

اللهم إِنَّكَ قَدِيْمٌ وَهٰذَا الْعَامُ جَدِيْدٌ قَدْ أَقْبَلَ، وَسَنَةٌ جَدِيْدَةٌ قَدْ أَقْبَلَتْ، نَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهَا وَنَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا...
Isi doa ini memohon agar Allah memberikan kebaikan sepanjang tahun, menjauhkan berbagai keburukan, dan melindungi hamba-Nya dari godaan setan.
3. Doa Asyura KH Muhammad Sholikhin Doa ini bersumber dari buku Misteri Bulan Suro karya KH Muhammad Sholikhin.

اَللَّٰهُمَّ يَا مُفَرِّجَ كُلِّ كَرْبٍ، وَيَا مُخْرِجَ ذِي النُّونِ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ، وَيَا جَامِعَ شَمْلِ يَعْقُوبَ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ...
Doa tersebut mengingat berbagai pertolongan Allah kepada para nabi dan berisi permohonan agar diberikan kehidupan yang baik, dipenuhi hajat di dunia dan akhirat, serta diwafatkan dalam keadaan beriman.

4. Doa Asyura Syekh Sulaiman Al-Jamal Doa ini terdapat dalam Hasyiyah Al-Jamal ‘Ala Syarhil Minhaj karya Syekh Sulaiman Al-Jamal.

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ مِلْءَ الْمِيْزَانِ وَمُنْتَهَى الْعِلْمِ وَمَبْلَغَ الرِّضَا وَعَدَدَ النِّعَمِ وَزِنَةَ الْعَرْشِ...
Doa ini dipenuhi dengan bacaan tasbih, tahmid, tahlil, dan takbir yang mengagungkan Allah SWT, disertai permohonan perlindungan dan pertolongan hanya kepada-Nya.
5. Doa Asyura Memohon Ampunan Pilihan doa terakhir berisi permohonan ampun dan kasih sayang Allah SWT bagi setiap hamba yang mengakui kekhilafannya.

اللهم يَا مُحْسِنُ قَدْ جَاءَكَ الْمُسِيْءُ، وَقَدْ أَمَرْتَ يَا مُحسِنُ بِالتَّجَاوُزِ عَنِ الْمُسِيْءِ...
Makna utama doa ini adalah memohon agar Allah mengampuni dosa-dosa, melimpahkan kebaikan, serta mencukupkan kebutuhan hamba-Nya dengan karunia dan rahmat-Nya.
Kapan Doa Asyura Dibaca? Hari Asyura diperingati setiap tanggal 10 Muharram dalam kalender Hijriah. Berdasarkan kalender Hijriah Kementerian Agama RI, 10 Muharram 1448 H bertepatan dengan Kamis, 25 Juni 2026.
Sebagian ulama menganjurkan doa Asyura dibaca setelah salat Maghrib pada 10 Muharram, sementara ada pula doa yang dapat diamalkan sejak awal Muharram hingga hari Asyura. Umat Islam dapat memilih doa yang diyakini dan membacanya dengan penuh keikhlasan sebagai bentuk ikhtiar mendekatkan diri kepada Allah SWT.
