Jelang Porprov Jatim 2027, KONI Kota Batu Pantau Kebugaran Atlet Lewat Tes VO2Max

JATIMTIMES - Atlet yang jarang berlatih dipastikan tidak bisa bersembunyi dari tes Volume Oksigen Maksimal (VO2Max). Lewat tes kebugaran yang diikuti 292 atlet ini, KONI Kota Batu mulai menyeleksi sekaligus memetakan kekuatan menuju Porprov Jatim 2027 di GOR Gajahmada, Kota Batu.

Sebanyak 292 atlet dari 30 cabang olahraga mengikuti tes yang digelar di GOR Gajahmada. Peserta merupakan atlet peraih medali Porprov IX Jatim serta atlet yang sebelumnya mencatatkan prestasi di tingkat kejuaraan provinsi.

Pada sesi awal, para atlet menjalani bleep test atau multistage fitness test yang bertujuan mengukur kapasitas aerobik maksimal dan daya tahan kardiovaskular. Tes dilakukan dengan lari bolak-balik sejauh 20 meter mengikuti irama bunyi yang semakin cepat seiring meningkatnya level.

Persaingan menarik terjadi dalam perebutan catatan level tertinggi. Atlet Triathlon Akben Gery Mustofa dan atlet Modern Pentathlon Indonesia (MPI) Akmalucas Irfano sama-sama mampu menuntaskan tes hingga level 12,3.

Sementara atlet Wushu Achmad Zainun mencuri perhatian penonton meski berhenti pada level 12,2. Aksi roll depan yang dilakukannya saat mengakhiri tes mendapat sambutan meriah dan tepuk tangan dari para peserta maupun penonton yang hadir.

Pada kategoru putri, atlet selam Michelle Adisty Putri menjadi yang terbaik dengan catatan level 10,1. Atas pencapaian tersebut, para atlet dengan nilai tertinggi langsung memperoleh bonus dari masing-masing pengurus cabang olahraga.

Ketua Umum KONI Kota Batu, Sentot Ari Wahyudi, mengatakan tes VO2Max menjadi bagian penting dalam pemetaan atlet yang akan dipersiapkan menghadapi Porprov Jatim 2027 di Surabaya. Lewat tes tersebut, kondisi fisik dan kedisiplinan atlet selama menjalani latihan bisa terlihat dengan jelas.

“Kalau atletnya malas berlatih, pasti akan kelihatan dalam tes ini. Dengan tes VO2MAX, pertama untuk melihat kondisi atlet, sekaligus persiapan kita melaksanakan Puslatkot KONI Kota Batu tahun 2026 sekaligus persiapan menjelang Porprov X tahun 2027 yang akan dilaksanakan di Surabaya,” kata Sentot.

Tahapan ini sekaligus menjadi dasar dalam menentukan atlet yang layak masuk program pemusatan latihan kota (Puslatkot). Data hasil tes nantinya akan digunakan sebagai acuan pembinaan agar target prestasi pada Porprov mendatang dapat tercapai.

“Pada tahap ini kita akan mencari tahu, siapa-siapa atlet yang layak masuk dalam Puslatkot KONI Kota Batu. Bagaimana kebugaran fisik mereka, sekaligus pemanasan menuju Porprov Jatim 2027,” imbuh Sentot, Rabu (17/6/2026).

Sentot juga meminta seluruh pelatih memanfaatkan hasil tes untuk memperkuat basis data atlet. Dengan demikian, proses pembinaan dapat dilakukan secara lebih terukur dan berkelanjutan.

“Kita serius mempersiapkan atlet kita yang akan berlaga di Porprov tahun 2027,” tegasnya.

Dengan tes ini, KONI Kota Batu berharap dapat membangun fondasi yang lebih kuat dalam pembinaan atlet. Persiapan sejak dini dinilai menjadi kunci untuk mempertahankan sekaligus meningkatkan prestasi Kota Batu pada ajang Porprov Jatim 2027 mendatang.
