Pembangunan SPAM Pagak Ditargetkan Selesai Desember 2026, Penuhi Kebutuhan Air Masyarakat di 5 Kecamatan

JATIMTIMES - Direktur Utama Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan Syamsul Hadi menyebut pembangunan Sistem Penyediaan Air Minum (SPAM) Pagak yang dibangun oleh Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum RI ditargetkan selesai pada Desember 2026 mendatang. 

Syamsul menyampaikan, ketika pembangunan SPAM Pagak sudah selesai terbangun, maka tahun 2027 mendatang bisa dioperasikan dan dimanfaatkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air minum masyarakat. "Insya Allah nanti Desember sudah selesai," ungkap Syamsul.

Proyek pembangunan SPAM Pagak yang ditangani langsung oleh Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum RI ini menelan anggaran sekitar Rp 60 milliar. Saat ini proyek pembangunan SPAM Pagak sudah melebihi 50 persen. "Sekarang pembangunan proyek SPAM Pagak sudah 60 persen," kata Syamsul. 

Pihaknya mengatakan,  kebutuhan air di SPAM Pagak nantinya akan diambilkan dari sumber mata air yang berada di wilayah Kecamatan Kepanjen dengan kapasitas 240 liter per detik. "Jadi, SPAM Pagak itu diambilkan dari sumber yang ada di wilayah Kepanjen dengan kapasitas 240 liter per detik," ungkap Syamsul.

Sehingga, yang semula rencananya hanya diperuntukkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air di SMA Taruna Nusantara, SPAM Pagak ke depan dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat di sekitar wilayah Kecamatan Pagak dan sekitarnya. Setidaknya terdapat masyarakat dari lima kecamatan yang merasakan manfaat keberadaan SPAM Pagak.  

"Kami melakukan pendekatan kepada Kementerian PU RI untuk menggabungkan dengan kepentingan masyarakat. Sehingga yang semula itu membangun 10 liter per detik menjadi 240 liter per detik. Ini luar biasa karena bisa menangani lima kecamatan. Mulai dari Kepanjen, Pagak, Bantur, Donomulyo dan Kalipare," jelas Syamsul.

Adanya SPAM Pagak yang melayani masyarakat di lima kecamatan ini nantinya berpotensi akan menambah 24 ribu pelanggan baru. Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan juga telah melakukan pendataan awal untuk potensi penambahan pelanggan baru. 

"Kami sudah mendata calon pelanggan yang nantinya akan menikmati SPAM yang saat ini dibangun," pungkas Syamsul.
