JATIMTIMES – Keluarga besar MTsN 1 Kota Malang kembali menggelar penyembelihan serta penyaluran hewan kurban dalam rangka memperingati Hari Raya Iduladha 1447 Hijriah, Kamis (28/5/2026). Melalui ibadah kurban, siswa diajarkan mengenai empati dan berbagai terhadap sesama.
Kegiatan yang dipusatkan di lingkungan madrasah tersebut mencatatkan tren positif dengan adanya lonjakan drastis pada jumlah komoditas hewan kurban yang berhasil dihimpun pihak panitia tahun ini.

Jika pada pelaksanaan tahun lalu lembaga pendidikan ini menyembelih 3 ekor sapi dan mengelola 12 ekor kambing, kali ini kuantitasnya naik menjadi 4 ekor sapi dan 24 ekor kambing. Keberhasilan pengumpulan hewan kurban tahun ini bersumber dari kolaborasi luhur serta perluasan partisipasi dari berbagai elemen madrasah.
Perolehan empat ekor sapi tersebut berasal dari sumbangan mandiri wali murid, patungan dari enam siswa madrasah, dan dukungan seluruh siswa kelas VII, VIII, dan IX sebagai bagian dari proses belajar berkurban, serta satu ekor dari jajaran Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan (GTK) MTsN 1 Kota Malang. Sementara untuk 24 ekor kambing yang terkumpul juga didapatkan secara kolektif dari orang tua, siswa, serta GTK madrasah.
“Kami sangat bersyukur dan berterima kasih atas kepercayaan besar dari para orang tua yang telah menyalurkan hewan kurbannya melalui madrasah, termasuk kepada anak-anak didik yang sudah belajar berkurban bersama,” ungkap Kepala MTsN 1 Kota Malang, Dra. Hj. Erni Qomaria Rida, M.Pd., di sela-sela aktivitas penyembelihan.
Erni memaparkan bahwa esensi utama dari gerakan kurban massal ini tidak sekadar ritual peribadatan tahunan, melainkan sarana edukasi aplikatif bagi para siswa untuk memahami arti penting sebuah pengorbanan.
Melalui pembagian daging kurban ke lapisan masyarakat yang membutuhkan, para siswa diajak mengasah kepekaan sosial agar kelak tumbuh menjadi alumni yang sholeh, sholehah, berakhlak mulia, serta memiliki empati yang tinggi terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Penanaman karakter ini dinilai jauh lebih efektif karena menyentuh aspek praktik langsung di lapangan.
“Melalui kegiatan mulia ini kita bersama dapat belajar bahwa hidup tidak hanya menerima saja tapi juga memberi. Semoga ibadah ini menjadi media untuk pendidikan karakter yang nyata agar anak-anak selalu punya rasa ingin berbagi pada lingkungan sekitarnya,” tutur Erni.
Guna menjaga ketertiban dan akuntabilitas dalam proses distribusi di lapangan, pihak panitia menerapkan sistem seleksi dan verifikasi yang ketat bagi para calon penerima paket daging. Seluruh alokasi komoditas pangan hewani ini disalurkan kepada warga masyarakat yang berhak berdasarkan pengajuan surat permohonan resmi dan penempelan stempel khusus saat penyerahan dokumen. Selain disebar ke warga madrasah dan masyarakat sekitar, sebagian hewan hidup juga didistribusikan ke sejumlah perkampungan yang dinilai minim pasokan kurban.

“Distribusi paket daging ini didasarkan pada surat permohonan resmi dan wajib menyertakan stempel saat penerimaan demi menjaga ketertiban administrasi di lapangan,” jelas Ketua Pelaksana Kurban MTsN 1 Kota Malang, M. Sholehudin, S.Pd.
Ia juga menyampaikan apresiasi setinggi-tingginya kepada seluruh elemen warga madrasah, mulai dari jajaran guru, pegawai, hingga para relawan yang totalitas mendukung kelancaran operasional pemotongan.
"Melalui semangat kebersamaan ini, seluruh rangkaian agenda keagamaan semoga dapat berjalan lancar serta mendatangkan keberkahan yang berkelanjutan dari Allah SWT," harapnya.
