JATIMTIMES - Polisi mengamankan terduga pelaku pengedar pupuk ilegal di wilayah Kabupaten Tulungagung. Pupuk ilegal atau tidak berlabel ini dalam karung phonska dengan seorang yang diamankan berinitial RW (51) warga Kabupaten Blitar. Sedangkan penangkapan SW berada digudang di Desa Tapan, Kecamatan Kedungwaru pada 30 Maret 2026 sekitar pukul 10.00 WIB. 

Menurut keterangan Kasat Reskrim Polres Tulungagung, AKP Andi Wiranata Tamba, awalnya petugas menghentikan sebuah mobil pick up Mitsubishi L300 di Jalan Jayeng Kusuma, Desa Tapan.

Dari lokasi ini, polisi menemukan 45 sak pupuk Phoska yang tengah diangkut untuk distribusi.  “Dari hasil penggeledahan di gudang, juga ditemukan  36 sak pupuk Phoska, sehingga total ada 81 sak pupuk. Kemudian kita diamankan,” kata Andi dalam konferensi pers, Senin (25/5/2026). 

Dari penyelidikan dan penyidikan yang dilakukan, pupuk ini dipesan secara khusus dengan harga 110 ribu/sak. SW diduga telah menjalankan aktivitas tersebut sejak Agustus 2024. Polisi menyebut pupuk itu diproduksi berdasarkan permintaan tersangka kepada sebuah perusahaan di Gresik dengan pesanan 7 ton dan dikirim ke Gudang di Desa Tapan. 

Tersangka kemudian mendapat pesanan sebanyak 40 sak pupuk dengan nilai total Rp5,2 juta.  "Pembayaran dilakukan melalui transfer BRILink yang kini turut dijadikan barang bukti penyidikan," ujarnya. 

Dari penyitaan, polisi juga mengamankan sejumlah dokumen yang terkait dengan legalitas perusahaan. “Seluruh dokumen saat ini masih didalami untuk memastikan kesesuaian izin edar, label, dan ketentuan distribusi pupuk sebagaimana aturan yang berlaku,” lanjutnya.

Atas perbuatannya, terangkat SW dijerat  Pasal 122 juncto Pasal 73 Undang-Undang RI Nomor 22 Tahun 2019 tentang Sistem Budidaya Pertanian Berkelanjutan dengan ancaman pidana penjara enam tahun dan denda mencapai 3 miliar rupiah.
