JATIMTIMES – Kodim 0823/Situbondo melaksanakan kegiatan Tes Kesamaptaan Jasmani (Garjas) Periodik I Tahun Anggaran 2026 sebagai bagian dari program pembinaan fisik rutin prajurit TNI AD. Kegiatan tersebut digelar di Stadion Mohammad Saleh Situbondo dan Kolam Renang Tirta Pandawa Situbondo, Kamis (21/5/2026).

Pelaksanaan Garjas kali ini melibatkan penyelenggara dari Jasrem 083/Baladhika Jaya serta mendapat supervisi langsung dari Staf Personel Korem 083/Bdj. Seluruh rangkaian kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan mengedepankan faktor kesehatan dan keselamatan personel.

Sebelum mengikuti tes kesamaptaan, seluruh peserta terlebih dahulu melakukan pengambilan blangko tes sebagai bagian dari administrasi pelaksanaan kegiatan. Tahapan tersebut menjadi proses awal sebelum prajurit menjalani pemeriksaan kesehatan.

Tim kesehatan kemudian melakukan pengecekan kondisi fisik peserta meliputi pemeriksaan tekanan darah, denyut nadi, hingga riwayat kesehatan masing-masing personel. Pemeriksaan dilakukan secara ketat guna memastikan setiap prajurit berada dalam kondisi layak mengikuti tes jasmani.

Langkah tersebut dilakukan sebagai bentuk antisipasi terhadap potensi risiko kesehatan selama pelaksanaan Garjas berlangsung. Kodim 0823/Situbondo menegaskan bahwa keselamatan personel menjadi prioritas utama dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan.

Selain pemeriksaan kesehatan, tim medis juga melakukan pemisahan terhadap personel yang memenuhi syarat dan yang tidak memenuhi syarat mengikuti tes. Kebijakan tersebut dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya gangguan kesehatan maupun hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan saat pelaksanaan tes fisik.

Sebelum tes dimulai, Kajas Korem 083/Bdj Kapten Inf Bambang Eko Priyono memberikan pengarahan kepada seluruh peserta terkait mekanisme pelaksanaan Garjas. Ia juga menyampaikan petunjuk teknis serta tata tertib keamanan selama kegiatan berlangsung.

Kapten Inf Bambang Eko Priyono menekankan agar seluruh prajurit memperhatikan kondisi fisik masing-masing dan tidak memaksakan diri apabila mengalami gangguan kesehatan saat tes berlangsung.

"Seluruh peserta agar mengikuti setiap tahapan sesuai prosedur yang telah ditentukan. Faktor keamanan dan keselamatan harus menjadi perhatian utama sehingga kegiatan dapat berjalan aman, tertib, dan lancar," ujarnya.

Tes Kesamaptaan Jasmani periodik sendiri merupakan program rutin TNI AD yang bertujuan untuk membina sekaligus menjaga kemampuan fisik prajurit agar tetap prima. Kegiatan ini juga menjadi salah satu tolok ukur kesiapan personel dalam mendukung pelaksanaan tugas di wilayah.

Melalui pelaksanaan Garjas Periodik I TA 2026 tersebut, Kodim 0823/Situbondo berharap seluruh prajurit dapat terus menjaga kebugaran dan kesehatan tubuh sehingga mampu menjalankan tugas kewilayahan secara optimal serta profesional.
