JATIMTIMES - Sebanyak 16.225 peserta mengikuti Ujian Tulis Berbasis Komputer Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Tes (UTBK-SNBT ) 2026 di Universitas Brawijaya (UB). Di tengah ketatnya seleksi, keikutsertaan peserta difabel menjadi sorotan karena kampus memastikan seluruh proses berjalan inklusif dan setara bagi semua kalangan.
Pelaksanaan ujian berlangsung selama enam hari, 21 hingga 26 April 2026, dalam 11 sesi. UB menyiapkan 67 ruang ujian yang tersebar di 16 fakultas serta Laboratorium Komputer Direktorat Teknologi Informasi, dengan dukungan 1.540 komputer dan tambahan 10 persen perangkat cadangan.

Dari pelaksanaan sesi pertama, tingkat kehadiran peserta mencapai 97,4 persen. Hanya sekitar 40 peserta yang tidak hadir. “Ini menunjukkan antusiasme yang sangat tinggi. Sampai saat ini juga belum ada laporan hal mencurigakan karena pengawasan dilakukan sangat ketat,” tambahnya.
Sorotan utama dalam pelaksanaan UTBK tahun ini adalah keterlibatan 13 peserta difabel. Mereka terdiri dari enam tunarungu, tiga tunadaksa, dan empat tunanetra. UB memastikan seluruh peserta difabel mendapatkan fasilitas yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masing-masing.
Koordinator Pelaksana UTBK UB, Arif Hidayat, menjelaskan bahwa peserta difabel ditempatkan dalam satu ruang khusus agar lebih mudah diakses dan diawasi. Infrastruktur di ruang tersebut telah disesuaikan dengan standar operasional dari panitia pusat. “Seluruh peserta difabel dapat mengikuti ujian dengan baik. Fasilitas pendukung sudah disiapkan sehingga mereka bisa mengerjakan secara mandiri tanpa pendamping,” jelasnya.
Ia menambahkan, jumlah peserta difabel tahun ini sedikit menurun dibanding tahun lalu yang mencapai 16 orang. Meski demikian, komitmen kampus dalam menghadirkan layanan pendidikan yang inklusif tetap menjadi prioritas.
Pengawasan ujian juga diperketat dengan kombinasi pengawasan langsung dan teknologi. Pemeriksaan fisik dilakukan secara detail menggunakan metal detector hingga pengecekan aksesori seperti kacamata, earphone, dan perlengkapan lain yang berpotensi disalahgunakan. Sistem jaringan pun dirancang tertutup agar tidak bisa diakses dari luar.

Untuk mendukung kelancaran, UB melibatkan 455 personel yang terdiri dari pengawas, teknisi, penanggung jawab lokasi, hingga tim IT. Selain itu, sembilan tim monitoring dan evaluasi turut diterjunkan guna memastikan seluruh proses berjalan sesuai prosedur.
Direktur Direktorat Administrasi dan Layanan Akademik, Dr. Rosihan Asmara, menambahkan bahwa pengaturan kendaraan di area kampus juga diperketat. Kendaraan pengantar, termasuk ojek daring, hanya diperbolehkan sampai gerbang kampus demi menjaga ketertiban selama ujian berlangsung.
Di sisi lain, persaingan masuk UB melalui jalur SNBT tahun ini sangat ketat. Tercatat 66.412 pendaftar memilih UB, sementara kuota yang tersedia hanya 5.793 kursi. Secara keseluruhan, UB menyediakan sekitar 18.800 kursi mahasiswa baru dengan komposisi 20 persen jalur SNBP, 30 persen SNBT, dan maksimal 50 persen jalur mandiri.
Dengan dukungan fasilitas yang memadai, pengawasan ketat, serta perhatian terhadap peserta difabel, pelaksanaan UTBK di UB tahun ini tidak hanya mengedepankan kualitas seleksi, tetapi juga prinsip keadilan dan inklusivitas bagi seluruh peserta.
