JATIMTIMES Iran membuka kembali Selat Hormuz untuk lalu lintas kapal komersial. Keputusan ini langsung berdampak besar terhadap pasar energi global, dengan harga minyak dunia tercatat turun tajam setelah pengumuman tersebut.
Kebijakan ini diumumkan di tengah momentum gencatan senjata antara Israel dan Lebanon . Pemerintah Iran menyatakan bahwa jalur pelayaran strategis itu kini bisa dilalui secara normal, meski tetap dengan sejumlah aturan teknis demi menjaga keamanan.

Menteri Luar Negeri Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, menyampaikan bahwa pembukaan Selat Hormuz berlaku selama masa gencatan senjata berlangsung. “Sejalan dengan gencatan senjata di Lebanon, jalur bagi seluruh kapal komersial melalui Selat Hormuz dinyatakan sepenuhnya terbuka untuk sisa periode gencatan senjata,” ujar Araghchi melalui media sosial, Jumat (17/4/2026).
Meski telah dibuka, kapal-kapal yang melintas tetap diwajibkan mengikuti jalur khusus yang telah ditetapkan otoritas maritim Iran. Sistem “jalur terkoordinasi” ini diterapkan untuk memastikan keamanan dan kelancaran navigasi di kawasan tersebut.
Pasar global merespons cepat keputusan ini. Harga minyak dunia dilaporkan anjlok lebih dari 11%, mencerminkan optimisme pasar terhadap kembali lancarnya distribusi energi dari kawasan Teluk.
Selat Hormuz sendiri dikenal sebagai salah satu jalur pelayaran paling vital di dunia, terutama untuk distribusi minyak. Pembukaannya kembali tentu memberi sinyal positif bagi stabilitas pasokan energi global.
Langkah Iran ini mendapat tanggapan dari Presiden Amerika Serikat, Donald Trump . Ia secara terbuka menyampaikan apresiasinya melalui platform Truth Social. “TERIMA KASIH! Iran telah mengumumkan jalur itu SEPENUHNYA TERBUKA DAN SIAP UNTUK DILALUI SEPENUHNYA,” tulis Trump, seperti dikutip AFP , Jumat (17/4/2026).
Namun, di sisi lain Trump menegaskan bahwa blokade angkatan laut AS terhadap pelabuhan Iran masih akan tetap diberlakukan hingga kesepakatan damai benar-benar tercapai. “Blokade angkatan laut akan tetap berlaku sepenuhnya terkait dengan Iran, hanya, sampai transaksi kita dengan Iran selesai 100%,” lanjutnya.
Trump juga menyebut bahwa proses menuju kesepakatan damai sudah berada di tahap akhir, meskipun pembicaraan yang dipimpin Wakil Presiden JD Vance sebelumnya belum menghasilkan terobosan signifikan.

Menanggapi sikap Amerika Serikat, Iran memberi sinyal tegas. Juru bicara Kementerian Luar Negeri Iran, Esmaeil Baghaei, menyatakan bahwa negaranya tidak akan tinggal diam jika blokade tetap dilanjutkan.
Seperti dilaporkan Al Jazeera dan Tasnim pada Sabtu (18/4/2026), Baghaei menegaskan bahwa Iran akan mengambil langkah balasan apabila tekanan terhadap pelabuhan mereka tidak dihentikan.
“Jika blokade maritim terhadap pelabuhan Iran berlanjut, Iran akan mengambil tindakan balasan. Iran adalah penjaga Selat Hormuz dan akan menunjukkan kelonggaran jika diperlukan,” ujarnya.
Ia juga menegaskan bahwa aktivitas pelayaran di Selat Hormuz tetap diperbolehkan, selama kapal mengikuti rute yang telah ditentukan oleh otoritas Iran.
Pembukaan Selat Hormuz menjadi angin segar bagi pasar energi global, namun ketegangan geopolitik antara Iran dan Amerika Serikat masih menyisakan ketidakpastian. Selama kesepakatan damai belum benar-benar tercapai, situasi di kawasan ini masih berpotensi berubah sewaktu-waktu.
