JATIMTIMES – Puluhan kader dan pengurus DPD Partai NasDem Kota Kediri menyatakan sikap tegas terkait pemberitaan Majalah Tempo yang dinilai meruntuhkan marwah partai serta Ketua Umum mereka. 

‎Para kader berkumpul di kantor DPD yang ada di Jalan Mayor Bismo, Semampir, Kota Kediri untuk merespons narasi mengenai isu fusi partai hingga akuisisi partai yang dianggap opini tanpa dasar.

‎​Ketua DPD NasDem Kota Kediri Khusnul Arif menjelaskan bahwa aksi ini merupakan aspirasi spontan dari tingkat akar rumput yang merasa kecewa dengan visualisasi serta narasi yang berkembang.

‎Pihaknya menegaskan bahwa informasi mengenai penggabungan partai tersebut tidak memiliki sumber internal yang valid.

‎"Ini merupakan sebuah opini yang sangat tidak berdasar. Informasi adanya merger atau akuisisi itu tidak bersumber dari internal kami maupun informasi yang pasti," tegasnya. 

‎​Dalam pernyataan sikapnya, perwakilan kader menuntut agar Majalah Tempo segera menyampaikan permohonan maaf secara terbuka. 

‎Mereka mendesak agar insan pers tetap patuh pada kode etik jurnalistik dan tidak membangun opini yang memberikan dampak psikologis bagi para kader di daerah.

‎ "Kami meminta kepada media terkait untuk meminta maaf secara khusus kepada Ketua Umum kami, dan tetap mengedepankan kode etik dalam setiap pemberitaan," tambahnya.

‎Menurut Mas Pipin ​sapaan akrab Khusnul Arif ;aksi protes ini merupakan bagian dari gerakan yang juga terjadi secara serentak di berbagai wilayah. Meski situasi di pusat dilaporkan mulai kondusif, kader di Kota Kediri menegaskan akan terus mengawal persoalan ini hingga ke tingkat pusat.

‎Mereka memastikan bahwa seluruh anggota di daerah tetap solid dan berada dalam satu komando. 

‎"Kami di NasDem Kota Kediri solid, satu komando, dan tetap menjaga marwah partai maupun marwah Ketua Umum kami," tutupnya.

‎Ditempat yang sama, Anggota DPRD Kota Kediri Choirudin Mustofa berharap tuntutan dari kader-kader NasDem di daerah ini menjadi atensi khususnya Majelis Tempo untuk lebih memperhatikan Pemberitaan atau etika jurnalistik yang baik. 

‎"Kami mewakili 25 ribu lebih suara yang diberikan kepada kami di Kota kediri berharap bukan sekadar itu, tetapi juga akan mengulang lagi Yang jelas-jelas berita itu sangat mencederai kami," tukasnya.
