Wakil Wali Kota Kediri Qowimuddin Thoha menghadiri Halal Bihalal keluarga besar PGRI.

JATIMTIMES - Momentum Syawal dimanfaatkan keluarga besar PGRI Kota Kediri untuk mempererat tali persaudaraan melalui kegiatan Halal Bihalal yang dihadiri Wakil Wali Kota Kediri Qowimuddin, Kamis (9/4/2026), di Auditorium SMAN 5 Taruna Brawijaya. Kegiatan ini juga menjadi ruang untuk memperkuat kebersamaan sekaligus meneguhkan komitmen memajukan pendidikan di Kota Kediri.

Sebelum acara halal bihalal dimulai, kegiatan diawali dengan pemberian santunan kepada 34 anak yatim sebagai wujud kepedulian sosial dan semangat berbagi kebahagiaan di bulan Syawal.

Pada kesempatan ini, Wakil Wali Kota Kediri yang akrab disapa Gus Qowim menuturkan, atas nama pribadi dan Pemerintah Kota Kediri, mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Idulfitri 1447 Hijriah, taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum, mohon maaf lahir dan batin kepada semuanya.

Mengusung tema “Dengan Ukhuwah Islamiyah, Kita Perkuat Tali Persaudaraan”, menurut Gus Qowim kegiatan ini memiliki makna yang sangat mendalam. Dengan terjalinnya persaudaraan yang kuat, diharapkan tercipta lingkungan kerja yang harmonis, yang pada akhirnya akan berdampak positif terhadap kualitas pendidikan di Kota Kediri.

Lebih lanjut, Wakil Wali Kota Kediri juga menyampaikan terima kasih dan apresiasi kepada seluruh anggota PGRI Kota Kediri, para guru dan tenaga kependidikan yang telah dengan penuh dedikasi mengemban tanggung jawab profesinya. 

Menurutnya, para guru dan tenaga kependidikan merupakan ujung tombak dalam mencetak generasi penerus bangsa, tidak hanya mentransfer ilmu pengetahuan, tetapi juga membentuk karakter, menanamkan nilai-nilai moral, serta membimbing anak-anak menuju masa depan yang lebih baik.

Ia berharap para guru dan tenaga kependidikan di Kota Kediri dapat terus beradaptasi, meningkatkan kapasitas diri, serta tetap menjaga semangat dalam memberikan pelayanan pendidikan yang terbaik. Selain itu, penting pula untuk terus memperkuat kolaborasi, baik antar sesama pendidik, dengan orang tua, maupun dengan pemerintah, agar tujuan pendidikan dapat tercapai secara optimal.

Usai menjalani bulan Ramadan, Gus Qowim berharap semangat kesabaran, keikhlasan, dan kedisiplinan yang telah dilatih dapat terus dibawa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk dalam menjalankan tugas sebagai pendidik. 

"Saya harap momentum halal bihalal ini bisa semakin menguatkan komitmen bersama untuk terus memberikan yang terbaik bagi dunia pendidikan di Kota Kediri," tutupnya.
