JATIMTIMES - Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Jember menggelar acara Gala Dinner bersama Keluarga Alumni Universitas Jember (KAUJE) di Pendopo Wahyawibawagraha, Sabtu (4/7/2026) malam.
Bupati Jember Muhammad Fawait menghadiri langsung kegiatan tersebut guna mempererat tali silaturahmi dan memperkuat sinergi pembangunan daerah. Acara ini turut dihadiri oleh sejumlah tamu istimewa, mulai dari Bupati Situbondo, Anggota DPR RI, hingga Rektor Universitas Jember (Unej).

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Ketua KAUJE menyampaikan komitmennya untuk terus menjaga hubungan baik dengan pemerintah daerah demi mengoptimalkan seluruh potensi yang ada agar Jember dapat kembali melesat maju.
Dalam sambutannya, Bupati Jember yang akrab disapa Gus Fawait memaparkan sejumlah program strategis yang tengah dijalankan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Jember. Selain memperkenalkan program daerah, ia juga membagikan kabar baik mengenai berbagai bantuan dari pemerintah pusat yang akan segera dikucurkan ke Kabupaten Jember.
"Saya juga butuh dukungan dari Keluarga Alumni Universitas Jember karena memang alumni Unej ini tidak main-main," ujar Bupati Gus Fawait di hadapan para hadirin. Beliau menambahkan bahwa keberhasilan para alumni di berbagai sektor nasional merupakan aset berharga yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk kemajuan daerah.
Sebagai langkah konkret ke depan, Pemerintah Kabupaten Jember berencana membentuk sebuah wadah komunikasi baru bertajuk forum "Jember Merajut Mimpi". Forum ini nantinya akan mengundang dan mengumpulkan para tokoh serta figur asal Kabupaten Jember yang telah sukses berkiprah di tingkat nasional.
